The Duke of York has released a statement following his disastrous BBC interview

Following his calamitous interview, Prince Andrew has said he asked Queen Elizabeth if he could step back from Royal duties for the time being.

Andrew released a statment on Wednesday night that was shared across all Royal platforms that stated he continues to  'unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein'.

This goes against what he said in the BBC interview where he, unequivocally, stated he did not in fact regret his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Signs would indicate that this isnt the end of this story for Andrew or the Royal Family. There will presumably be an investigation to come.

One thinks this spells trouble for the family.
