British Heritage Travel reader Rebecca Vincent wins this month's photo competition with this breathtaking image of Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons National Park. (If you enjoy amazing views and need a little exercise while traveling through Wales, head over for a challenging hike!) Check out the photo in all its glory below!

"In spirit of our New Year’s resolution of being outdoors and exploring more, my boyfriend and I decided to take a stroll around Brecon for Valentine’s Day 2016, and luckily the weather was on our side. The Brecon Beacons National Park is one of our favorites, so we packed up my camera and lots of warm clothing and drove just over an hour from our home in Llantrisant, South Wales to Brecon. On this specific day, I was more focused on enjoying and capturing a good photograph of the immense amount of beauty that surrounded us rather than making the steep climb to the top of the highest mountain in South Wales, Pen y Fan. The location where I took this shot was only a 5-minute drive from Story Arms, located at the bottom of Pen y Fan. There was a lay-by on the side of the road where we pulled in and I was able to get this photograph. Working for The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, I take great pleasure in capturing beautiful wild places such as this one on camera."
