Princess Beatrice has announced her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, her property tycoon boyfriend
Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and ninth in line to the throne, has announced she will marry her Italian fiancee next year.
The 31 year old released a statement that read: "We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together. We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.:
This news comes following the marriage of Princes Eugenie, the sister of Beatrice, to her partner Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle last year.

But, unlike her cousins Harry and William Beatrice doesn't require the Queen's permission to get married due to a 2013 change to the Royal Marriages Act which removed her from the Queen's sphere.
