On this day, 12th October 2018, Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in St George's Chapel, Windsor.

Taking the lead from her cousin who married there in May, Princess Eugenie held a royal wedding like no other with over 850 guests. She walked down the aisle by her father, Prince Andrew, and the whole royal family was in attendance.

The bride wore a Peter Pilotto dress that highlighted a scar she's had since spinal surgery many years ago. Eugenie was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was 12 years old and received treatment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, undergoing a successful eight-hour operation to straighten her spine

For her wedding day, the Princess borrowed the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

The royal couple welcomed their first child August Philip Hawke in February 2021. He was named after Queen Victoria’s consort Prince Albert, who had Augustus as a middle name. The child's middle name Philip is in honour of Eugenie’s grandfather and August’s great-grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh.

The couple went on to welcome their second son Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank in May 2023. He is named after his great-great-great-grandfather George V, whose third given name was Ernest, his grandfather George Brooksbank, and his great-grandfather Major Ronald Ferguson.
