In times like these, it's important to remember who is out there on the front line saving lives

That's why, at 8pm on the 26th of March, everyone around the UK was encouraged to step outside and simply give a round of applause for the front line health workers.

This is simply to show solidarity with the brave men and women in the health service, who are working tirelessly under extreme strain at the minute, with no sign of the situation improving anytime soon.

NHS workers, and health care workers around the world are in for the fight of their lives. The coronavirus is spreading at a rapid rate and putting severe strain on many health services that are already stretched to their absolute limits.

With this in mind, Kate and William took to Twitter to show their appreciation.

Thankfully, Prince Charles also felt healthy enough to share a video

The Prince of Wales even got in on the act, and shard a lovely video of him Camilla (separated) clapping on the health workers. Check it out below.

Fingers crossed that this is a sign that Charles is feeling okay. No doubt that everyone across Britain has him and anyone affected by Covid-19 in their thoughts.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson also tested positive for the virus, showing that it can affect anyone, anywhere.

The @RoyalFamily Twitter account even got involved in the action.

Stay safe, everyone.
