One of London’s most recognisable hotels, a recent visit to The Cavendish reminded us why it’s consistently in high demand.
Explore:
Whether it be your first time in London or the latest in a long string of visits, it’s hard to beat The Cavendish’s location. Situated on Jermyn St, the hotel sits behind Bond St and opposite Fortnum and Mason. Piccadilly Square is minutes away (less than five minutes on foot) and with it links to the underground and all transport links as well as dozens of West End theatres and China Town. In the opposite direction is Green Park, flanked by Pall Mall and Buckingham Palace. Be it shopping, touristing or simple relaxation The Cavendish is the perfect base from which to explore London.
Eat:
After a busy day experiencing all London has to offer, opt to dine at the inhouse Mayfair Lounge & Grill. With exceptional service as standard, our servers went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable meal, something we observed as standard throughout our stay. Highlights include the Parmesan and Truffle bread to start and the steak options which are cooked to perfection. For those with a sweet tooth, the culinary team behind Mayfair are also behind The Cavendish’s legendary afternoon tea and the famous pastries inspired by the Queen of Cooks, Rosa Lewis, who was the previous owner of The Cavendish London Hotel. The hotel’s Sunday Roast is also a thing of perfection and a wonderful way to fill up before heading to the theatre for a West End show.

The unrivalled views of London from the guest rooms. Inroom Nespresso machines make a luxury of enjoying the view from the comfort of your own bed - depending on the room views include The London Eye, Big Ben, and St Paul’s Cathedral. Too often in a city centre hotel rooms offer a view of a busy street or a blank wall, but not so with The Cavendish which has embraced its location with giant windows as standard in all rooms.
Experience:
The hotel’s concierge service. As one of the great cities of the world, London can be overwhelming, especially if you have a list of specific things to achieve. Outsourcing time consuming tasks like dinner reservations and show tickets to the onsite concierge is one of our top tips when it comes to making the most of your time in the city. Staff at The Cavendish consistently go above and beyond to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one - from local recommendations to advice on how to get the best from tourist attractions, they know everything and are more than willing to share their knowledge.
