'FOR VALOUR': GRAVES OF VICTORIA CROSS WINNERS

There are about a dozen Victoria Cross holders buried in unmarked graves in London and there may be as many as 100 in unmarked graves nationally. Unfortunately, there is no organization for the upkeep of graves although several have been found by individuals and markers placed on them. Many lie in 'that piece of foreign soil that will forever be England' while others went down with their ships. Here is a list of several VC winners' graves:
